About NMRCC
The Northern Midwest Regional Council of Carpenters (NMRCC) represents more than 36,000 skilled union members and their families across Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. We are proudly chartered by the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America (UBC) - one of North America's oldest and most respected labor unions that is committed to raising industry standards, protecting workers' rights, and strengthening both our communities and our industry since 1881.
The NMRCC is more than just a union. It is a brotherhood of skilled tradesmen and women who take real pride in their craft. Carpenters, millwrights, pile drivers, floorcoverers, interior systems and industrial professions who are committed to their skilled trade, standing together to keep the union and our economy strong.
Extensive Training
Union tradespeople get extensive training in state-of-the-art methods and equipment during a four-year apprenticeship.
Safe Job Sites
NMRCC ensures its members are working on safe job sites – not working along untrained, unsafe and undocumented workers.
Healthcare and Pension
Union members have good healthcare coverage and a pension that members can build on as they work.
