Pile Driver/Welder

POSITION SUMMARY
Hiring experienced Pile Driver / Welders to perform pile driving, structural welding, and bridge and foundation construction. Work is outdoors on active union jobsites and may require statewide travel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive steel, concrete, and timber piling
- Set up, operate, and break down pile driving rigs and hammers
- Perform structural welding on piles, plates, studs, and miscellaneous steel
- Cut steel using torches; fabricate and repair components
- Climb pile leads and work at heights
- Assist with rigging and crane signaling
- Form and place concrete for bridge and foundation work
- Work safely around traffic, cranes, water, and heavy equipment
- Follow all MIOSHA, jobsite, and union safety requirements

PAY & UNION BENEFITS
Starting Wage: $35.57/hour base rate. Additional pay considered for welding certs and other credentials.
Benefit Package: $20+ per hour
Wages and benefits per collective bargaining agreement.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required: Experience in pile driving, welding, or heavy civil construction; AWS D1.1 or D1.5 preferred; ability to work at heights and in all weather; valid driver’s license; ability to travel statewide.

Preferred: Journeyman-level or 4+ years pile driving/bridge experience; bridge, highway, or marine construction background; additional safety or equipment certifications.
